This short communication presents the second part of a series updating the 2012 recommendations for body care services, focusing on the safe provision of selected services and their contraindications. It summarizes the importance of the initial health history interview, the truthful disclosure of the client's health status, and an individual assessment of the suitability of each procedure. It highlights the need to consider that certain medical conditions may pose a temporary or permanent barrier to the provision of the service. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of identifying high-risk conditions, including limitations regarding the use of specialized equipment.
