Changes in Czech legislation for drinking water will follow new EU directive

The text introduces the new Directive (EU) 2020/2184 on the quality of water intended for human consumption, which entered into force in January 2021 and must be transposed into Member States' law within a period of two years. The main changes against the previous directive are shown and a way of transposing the new directive into Czech Republic legislation is indicated.
