Preventive Inspection in the Public Health Service of the Czech Republic: Significance and Experiences

Preventive inspection is one of the most important tools used in public health protection and promotion in the Czech Republic. Evaluation of health risks has been facilitated by the development of new methodologies. The objective of the article is a short summary of the possibilities of Regional Public Health Authorities illustrated via some examples of recent cases in the field of preventive inspection.
