The Federation of the Food and Drink Industries (FFDI) CR, a Partner in Projects of the 6th EU Framework Programme

Presented is a review of four projects within the 6th EU Framework Programme that includes activities for increasing the quality and safety of nutrition. In question are projects for limiting the accumulation of noxae in foodstuffs (ICARE), financing the development of the food industry (ENFFI), increasing the nutritional value of traditional foods through innovations (TRUEFOOD) and the utilization of barley to obtain high-fiber and low-salt bakery products (BARLEYBREAD). The Federation of the Food and Drink Industries (FFDI) is transferring those activities to the Czech Republic and is coordinating them.
